LADDER USAGE
This project is the first one of a series of instructional videos aimed to train the workplace safety among the company employees. The task at hand involved crafting a concise yet impactful video focusing on the proper usage of ladders within our store premises, as per the detailed brief provided.
The primary challenge: documenting unsafe practices, which posed a significant risk of injury.
Stakeholders insisted on capturing the entire process, despite the inherent danger to the individual performing the task.
After thorough investigation, we devised a solution: a concise yet comprehensive animation that effectively conveyed the nuances of the 'bad practices' without endangering any individuals. This approach ensured clarity and safety simultaneously, mitigating the risk associated with live demonstrations.
Since we had limited time to shoot, and the store was new to us and still open to customers, we had to plan everything out carefully. So, we put together a detailed storyboard with all the shots we needed and a schedule to make sure we got everything done smoothly.
